Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data The FX Know (“we”) collects when you use thefxknow.com, and what we do with it. We collect as little as possible.
Data we collect
- Newsletter: if you subscribe, we store your email address to send you the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Emails you send us: we keep your message and address to reply to you.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It records aggregated information such as page views and country.
- Security logs: our hosting provider processes IP addresses temporarily to protect the site from abuse.
Calculators run entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter are never sent to us.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add any in future, we will ask for your consent first. Third-party widgets (see below) may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Service providers
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, analytics and email forwarding.
- TradingView — market charts and data widgets, loaded from TradingView’s servers.
- Our newsletter provider — stores subscriber emails and sends the newsletter.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the UK and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email [email protected] to exercise them. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Retention
We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe, and correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and revise the date above.
